In 1998, we added a State-approved early childhood program, funded through a partnership with the California Department of Education. It is a part-time program free to children ages three and four to low-income families with qualifying income. Younger children must be potty-trained and must turn three by December 2 of the attending school year to qualify for this program. This program is also very high in demand and we encourage applicants to submit requested paperwork as soon as possible to be on the waiting list. |

The private preschool and kindergarten program was established over 20 years ago in 1989 for working families seeking quality early childhood services. We accept children ages two to six for this program. We have open-enrollment throughout the year due to the changing needs of parents and children that begin to qualify for our programs on their second birthday. Teachers play a variety of roles for this age group, from potty- training all the way to a high-achieving Kindergarten education. Our goal is to provide the tools for academic challenge and competency, as well as socialization once children leave our school for elementary school. Many parents have reported that children that have graduated from our programs have enlisted in honor rolls and gone on to higher education at prestigious universities. We encourage applying early to get ahead in the waiting list. We accept many agency- sponsored payments where qualifying parents receive child care payment assistance to essentially receive free child care at our facility. Some of our current partners include Pathways, Crystal Stairs, Child Care Resource Center, Frank Lanterman Regional Center, South Central Regional Center, Department of Family Services, Los Angeles County, CalWorks Alternative Payments, and Drew Child Development Center. We are open to partnership with other agency sponsors should the agency not be in our current list of partners. Tuition is also determined on a sliding fee scale, based on income and whether any portion can be subsidized.
